CMAA Services

  • ESL (English as a Second Language)
    CMAA sponsors and provides ESL training to community members. Professional instructors hired by CMAA teach the courses which are open to the general public.
  • Translation
    A translation service from a primary language to Englishis provided for those in need of English documents, such as birth or marriage certificates.
  • Transportation
    A wide range of services for senior citizens is provided. When the need to get a doctor or dental appointment arises, CMAA furnishes transportation.
  • Senior Citizen Program
    CMAA provides library facilities and many outdoor senior citizen social events. A mutual assistance program by and for the seniors includes a wide variety of support including referral services.
  • Academic Enrichment Program
    The CMAA Academic Enrichment Program is primarily for students from middle school to high school (grades 6-12). Here, students can learn new helpful material, and reinforce knowledge that they have already covered during the school years as well. Our goal is to improve, enrich, and reinforce the student's academic career all in an effective, enjoyable, and achieving setting.
  • Notary Public
    CMAA provides notary public service for any legal or professional documentation.
  • Chinese Language Class
    Chinese Language Classes are provided on Saturdays to students of all ages, who are interested in learning the language and the culture.
  • Chinese Arts
    Chinese brush painting is taught to those interested in the Chinese arts and its unique forms of expression.
  • Martial Arts
    Professional instructors teach the methods of self defense and body conditioning to all age groups and either gender.
  • Immigration/Citizenship Class
    Courses are available to help gain knowledge of the community and systems of the United States, and to help study for the citizenship exam. CMAA also conducts immigration seminars, and assists with the US citizenship application.
  • Voters Education Program
    Your ballot counts! This program promotes voter registration and voter education to increase the Chinese-American voter participation in Santa Clara County.
  • Referral Services
    Any services not provided directly by CMAA will be referred out to the appropriate agency within our community.
  • Spiritual Education Program
    Many paths, one destination
