Academic Enrichment Program
The CMAA Academic Enrichment Program is primarily for students from middle
school to high school (grades 6-12). Here, students can learn new helpful
material, and reinforce knowledge that they have already covered during
the school years as well. Our goal is to improve, enrich, and reinforce
the student's academic career all in an effective, enjoyable, and achieving
setting.
The AEP is extremely flexible, and designed to cater to each student's
specific wants and needs. Our instructors spend time working closely with
every student, making the classroom environment productive, educational,
and fun for everyone.
Our instructors are carefully selected college students from prestigious
universities, who all have a first-hand understanding of the difficulties
and obstacles younger students will encounter in their educations. Due
to the unique resource, instructors are able to teach the students important
cacdemic materials, as well as providing academic counseling to have a
constructive, efficient, and balanced life.
All students will be assessed for their respective levels and taught
materials appropriate tp those levels, in order to give each scholar the
best learning experience possible.
Students will also be able to request additional subjects and/or activities,
to be taught at the instructors' discretion.
There are two sessions during the summer, both are four weeks long. Each
session will have three basic areas of focus:
- English: (including grammar, literary analysis, reading comprehension,
creative writing, vocabulary building, etc.)
- Art: (including Chinese calligraphy, sketching, self-expression,
and more)
- Math: (ranging from basic arithmetic, to algebra and even basic
calculus)
